The National Youth Financial Educators Council (NYFEC) is an organization dedicated to increasing youth financial literacy through the creation of certification standards, development of financial literacy curriculum and providing financial Educators methods on how to most effectively teach this subject matter.   

National Financial Youth Educators Certification
Financial Educators that display the NYFEC logo have met the highest level of financial literacy education competence.  This certifies they have met or exceeded educational standards, passed testing requirements and experienced real world training.

NYFEC Certified financial educators have completed a minimum of 20 hours of study and passed the certification test with a score of 80% or higher.  This includes in depth instruction on financial literacy subject matters and training on how to effectively relay the topic to youth in a way that will educate and entertain.

NYFEC is the central source for practical financial literacy curriculum. NYFEC financial education curriculum emphasizes a holistic approach to financial education; focusing on developing areas that will not only guide a student to be financially savvy but also cultivates important life skills that lead to a bright future.

National Financial Youth Educators Integrity
To further protect students and facility NYFEC has developed the first and only back ground check certification for people that work with high school and college students. BackGround Check Certified  completes a in depth criminal background check, aliases, address history and our ethical review team makes sure speakers meet the highest level of ethical standards.  This feature is optional for those interested in achieving NYFEC Certified status.
